How connecting a channel works
Every channel uses the platform’s official sign-in (OAuth). You click Connect, sign in on the platform, and approve posting access. MITPO stores a secure access token — never your password — and uses it to publish on your behalf. Nothing posts without your say-so.

Open Connections
Go to Settings → Connections and find the channel you want.

Sign in on the platform
A window opens on LinkedIn, Meta, or X. Log in there and approve the access MITPO asks for.

Publish from MITPO
Once connected, the channel is available in the composer, campaigns, and automations. Reconnect anytime a token expires.
Connect your personal LinkedIn account to publish posts to your feed. Good for founder-led and thought-leadership content.

Connect LinkedIn
Settings → Connections → LinkedIn → Connect.

Grant posting access
Sign in with LinkedIn and approve posting to your feed.

Reconnect every ~2 months
LinkedIn access lasts about two months. Reconnect when prompted to keep posting.
Meta — Facebook & Instagram
One Meta connection covers both a Facebook Page you manage and the Instagram Professional account linked to it. You sign in with Facebook and pick the Page; the linked Instagram account connects automatically.

Connect Meta
Settings → Connections → Meta → Connect, then sign in with Facebook.

Pick your Page
Choose the Facebook Page you admin. Its linked Instagram Professional account is added automatically.

Publish to both
Post text, images, and video to Facebook; images and video to Instagram. (Instagram needs a photo or video attached.)
X (Twitter)
Connect your X account to publish posts to X directly from MITPO. MITPO uses the official X API (OAuth 2.0) to sign you in and post on your behalf — you never share your X password, and you approve posting access on X itself.

Settings → Connections → X → Connect.

Approve on X
Sign in with X and approve posting access. MITPO requests only what it needs: read your profile and publish posts (X API scopes tweet.read, tweet.write, users.read).

Write a post in the composer, a campaign, or an automation and publish straight to your X timeline.
How posting to X works
X charges per post through its API, so MITPO meters X posting with credits and keeps it on paid plans.
- Plan
- Posting to X is available on the Starter plan and above. Recurring auto-posting is on Growth and above.
- Credits
- Each X post uses credits, because X bills per post through the API. A plain post is the cheapest option.
- Links
- Posts with a link cost more and get less reach on X. Keep your link in your bio and post link-free for the best results.
- X posts are text today (up to 280 characters). Image and video posting to X is coming next.

Publishing runs through each platform’s official API. Ad campaigns are a separate feature from organic posting.
Manage or disconnect a channel
You are always in control of a connection. Access tokens expire on each platform’s own schedule; MITPO refreshes them automatically where the platform allows, and shows a reconnect prompt when a manual step is needed. To remove a channel entirely, disconnect it — MITPO drops the stored token and stops posting immediately.
